More and More Mechanisms

Today, intake sub-team tested the top roller mechanism. The top roller is a potential mechanism for intake, which is designed to obtain cubes by laying a roller on the top face of the cube and pulling it into the intake box. Intake tested how the top roller will work when it comes into contact with a cube, and the extent of its efficiency.

The top roller touches the top face of the cube, and the spinning motion of the roller slides the cube into the intake box.

They are currently making adjustments to the mechanism so that the cubes are obtained with more efficiency.

Another group, the drivetrain sub-team, is CADing the foundation of the drivetrain. The drivetrain is the main component of the robot, acting as the center of the robot as well as the part that moves around the field.
