As the third week of build season begins, RoboGym is surpassing where we were at this time last season. We finished the CAD for the drivetrain, so we can begin to milll its pieces. Milling is the process of using a milling machine to cut pieces of metal into custom pieces. We will use the pieces we mill to construct the drivetrain, and more pieces will be milled to use for our other mechanisms.

Head of the CAD sub-team, Leo Wolf, holds the blueprints for our drivetrain. With the blueprints, our team can begin to mill the pieces of the drivetrain.

Another group, our intake sub-team, is working hard on solving problems regarding the top roller intake mechanism.

The top roller intake subgroup is working to find a solution to problems posed by the top roller intake design.

Our other intake subgroup, the side roller intake subgroup, is working on finding the correct hardness of the rollers to obtain and hold the cubes most efficiently.
