RoboGym is halfway through the fourth week of build season, and the robot is finally coming together. Our team is working on the wiring of both robots, and we are beginning to assemble the gear boxes.

The robot's drivetrain is currently being wired. Member Nick Braun assists in wiring. Here, he is pictured assembling a gear box.

Member Camille Giertl assembles a gear box. The gear box connects to the motor, and is the part of the drivetrain that makes the robot move.

Our CAD sub-team is still working hard! Today, the sub-team is coding for the elevator carriage. The elevator carriage is the part of the elevator that holds the robots so that they can be lifted.
Build season wraps up on February 20th, and competition season begins. RoboGym is competing in two local competitions, and hopes to compete at nationals. This year, nationals are held in Detroit, Michigan.
