No Bump(er)s Along the Way...

As week four of build season comes to an end, the bumpers sub-team is constructing bumpers to affix to the drivetrain.

Each bumper is comprised of a wooden board with a piece of metal that slides into the bumper mounts on the drivetrain. Two pool noodles are glued to the outside face of the board and covered in FRC-issued fabric to keep them in place. Member Cedric Buschfrers measures a pool noodle to attach to one of the boards.

The drivetrain itself is coming along well, and only a small amount of wiring is left to be done.
